Director, Infrastructure Supply Chain Accounting
Leads end-to-end accounting for infrastructure components, fixed assets, and supply-chain cost structures supporting a rapidly scaling compute platform. The role requires 12+ years of accounting experience, deep ASC 360 and cost-accounting expertise, and the ability to build scalable processes while leading a team.

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end accounting for components flowing through the compute stack, including cost accumulation, reserves, monthly close, reconciliations, roll-forwards, flux analysis, and transition to fixed asset status upon deployment.
- Apply technical accounting under ASC 360, including capitalization, useful lives, impairment, and disposals.
- Apply cost accounting practices such as standard versus actual costing, variance analysis, bill-of-materials cost accumulation, and landed cost.
- Partner with Real Estate, Legal, Finance, Data Center Operations, engineering, infrastructure, operations, and supply chain teams on accounting implications and cost transparency.
- Improve upstream data pipelines and component tracking from purchase order through deployment, including serial-number-level tracking and existence controls.
- Design and scale systems, processes, and controls for a growing fixed asset portfolio.
- Lead and mentor accounting professionals.
- Serve as a key external-auditor contact on fixed asset accounting.
- Drive process improvements and automation, including AI tooling, to improve financial reporting efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including operational experience at technology, manufacturing, or infrastructure-heavy companies.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent education, training, and experience.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge of ASC 360 and applied experience with supply-chain cost accounting concepts, including BOM-based costing, standard versus actual costing, obsolescence, and NRV analysis.
- Experience managing significant fixed asset or component/inventory portfolios in high-growth environments.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with large, complex datasets.
- Track record of improving scalable financial processes.
- Experience leading and developing accounting teams.
- Ability to translate technical accounting concepts into clear financial implications for non-finance stakeholders.
- Clear communication and effective cross-functional influence.
- Experience partnering with engineering, infrastructure, operations, and supply chain teams.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience at semiconductor companies, hardware OEMs/ODMs, contract manufacturers, or hyperscalers.
- Experience with complex BOM-based assemblies and infrastructure asset structures.
- Experience with fixed asset subledger and component/inventory management systems at scale, including NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.
- SQL proficiency.
- Big Four accounting or advisory experience combined with industry experience.
- Experience with complex data center buildouts or hybrid cloud/on-premises environments.
- Knowledge of AI/ML infrastructure and associated cost structures.
- Experience applying AI tooling, including Claude, to accounting processes, memo drafting, or close automation.
- CPA or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results in rapidly changing environments.
Compensation
- Annual salary: $230,000–$300,000 USD.
