Senior Director - Strategic Finance

Responsibilities
- Lead company-wide financial and business planning, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range scenario modeling.
- Build and maintain financial models for SaaS and AI business models, including ARR, consumption-based pricing, and margin structures.
- Lead cash-flow forecasting and capital planning, with visibility into liquidity, runway, and investment capacity.
- Partner with executive leadership on corporate strategy, growth initiatives, pricing evolution, and AI monetization.
- Lead investor relations, including investor communications, financial storytelling, and materials for current and prospective investors.
- Own board and management reporting, delivering clear narratives on performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Serve as an embedded finance partner to GTM, Product, and R&D leadership on pricing, resourcing, and investment tradeoffs.
- Build and maintain KPI frameworks connecting financial outcomes to operational drivers.
- Improve finance processes, systems, and reporting through automation and AI-driven insights.
- Lead and manage direct reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or a comparable quantitative field.
- 10+ years of experience across corporate FP&A and finance business partnering, investment banking, private equity, or strategic finance.
- Significant SaaS experience and exposure to AI-native performance metrics.
- Experience supporting investor relations, board reporting, and executive decision-making.
- Strong financial modeling expertise, including ARR, CAC, LTV, and AI or consumption-based revenue models.
- Experience with cash-flow modeling, capital planning, fundraising, and/or M&A transactions.
- Strategic mindset and ability to connect financial insights to business objectives.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to distill complex analyses into clear narratives.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and influencing skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment with ambiguity and changing priorities.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base compensation range: $229,500–$310,500.
