Senior Software Engineer
Build and operate highly available datastore infrastructure and platform tooling for Auth0’s distributed systems. The role requires 5–8 years of software development experience, infrastructure and cloud expertise, and familiarity with databases, reliability, and operations.

Responsibilities
- Develop large, distributed, highly available infrastructure.
- Implement platform tools that allow feature teams to deploy and manage datastores for their services.
- Research new technologies to accelerate new environment creation.
- Carry cross-team initiatives end to end, including code reviews, design reviews, operational robustness, and security hygiene.
- Participate in the team's on-call rotation.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in, or willingness to learn, Golang.
- Experience managing infrastructure with Terraform.
- Experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD.
- Experience working with data storage systems at scale, such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and DynamoDB.
- Comfort working on datastore reliability, including standard configurations, latency, throughput, availability, utilization indicators, and performance analysis.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services.
- Ability to deliver work incrementally, gather feedback, and iterate.
- Passion for building systems that are highly reliable, maintainable, scalable, and secure.
