Responsibilities
- Own PR execution for Grow's priority initiatives, increasing our share of voice relative to competitors and positioning Grow as a go-to source on topics such as youth mental health, social media, connection, coping skills, personal growth and AI's role in psychological health.
- Turn product, clinical, and research work into compelling stories, packaging data, benchmark research, advisory work, and client insights into media moments that build trust and distinguish Grow in the market.
- Lead company visibility around key milestones, including executive hires, awards, partner moments, rebrand news, and year-end momentum stories.
- Build distinct storylines for consumers, business and tech media, employers, payors, primary care partners, clinical researchers, and top tech talent, and activate the right messengers to carry them, from executives and clinicians to providers, investors, and external researchers.
- Keep earned media, executive social, blog and Substack, and dynamic social working off one shared story calendar, strengthening reporter relationships and managing reactive issues as they arise.
Requirements
- Can turn complex product, research, and business updates into clear, engaging stories that both consumer and business audiences understand.
- Have run integrated campaigns across earned media, owned content, executive channels, events, partnerships, and social; write and edit the core materials yourself, including pitches, press releases, FAQs, talking points, blog posts, and briefing docs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with reporters, editors, creators, and other trusted third parties; lead proactive newsmaking while handling reactive issues with calm judgment.
- Work cross-functionally with product, clinical, marketing, legal, and leadership teams to keep messaging aligned; prep spokespeople and executives for interviews, launches, events, and sensitive moments.
- Manage agencies, timelines, approvals, and multiple fast-moving work streams at once; coach teammates and improve processes to strengthen future campaigns.

Compensation and Benefits
Base Compensation: $144,000–$168,000 USD annually (varies based on experience, qualifications, and location).
