Lead Software Engineer
Leads technical strategy, architecture, and delivery of high-impact full-stack solutions for Hudl’s Human Performance group. The role requires strong cloud engineering, mentoring, communication, and experience with modern technologies such as TypeScript, React, GraphQL, C#, MongoDB, or AWS.

Responsibilities
- Define and champion medium- to long-term system architecture, technical roadmaps, experimentation, and engineering best practices.
- Directly contribute to implementing solutions.
- Own complex, high-impact Human Performance projects across multiple business units.
- Mentor and develop engineers through guidance, collaboration, and feedback.
- Foster cross-group initiatives, proactively communicate needs, and maintain a positive, inclusive environment.
Requirements
- Product-focused approach.
- Mastery of full-stack engineering.
- Experience with cloud-based systems, test-driven development (TDD), and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
- Experience coaching or mentoring engineers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts and trade-offs to cross-functional stakeholders.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with TypeScript, React, GraphQL, C#, MongoDB, and/or AWS.
- Experience with adjacent languages, frameworks, or services used at scale.
- IMU and GPS data processing experience.
