Responsibilities
Build and optimize the lifecycle program in Braze, including onboarding, activation, retention, and reactivation canvases across push, email, and in-app messaging.
Own email deliverability end to end, including domain warm-up, list hygiene, and engagement-based sending.
Define audience segments from behavioral data and partner with data and engineering to instrument required events and attributes.
Design and run holdout tests, incrementality analyses, and A/B tests to measure lift.
Drive lifecycle campaigns for season kickoffs, competitions, and product launches in partnership with product managers, design, and marketing.
Establish operating standards for naming conventions, quality assurance, frequency capping, and campaign prioritization.
Requirements
3–5 years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, or growth marketing with meaningful ownership of a consumer program.
Hands-on experience with Braze or a comparable platform such as Iterable, Airship, or Customer.io; experience building multi-step, branching journeys.
Strong understanding of email deliverability, including sender reputation, authentication, and engagement-based sending.
Analytical rigor and experience designing holdouts and measuring incremental lift.
Ability to take lifecycle programs from strategy through execution in a zero-to-one environment.
Strong copywriting skills for push notifications and email.
Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams and scoping instrumentation requirements.
