Responsibilities
Own conferences, field events, leadership speaking engagements, executive dinners, investor events, and webinars end to end.
Manage event venues, vendors, budgets, booths, swag, signage, shipping, staffing, registration, lead capture, logistics, and post-event follow-up.
Source and secure speaking opportunities; manage submissions, confirmations, travel, speaker preparation, and on-site execution.
Plan executive and investor dinners, including venues, guest lists, logistics, execution, and follow-up.
Own webinar platforms, setup, run of show, speaker preparation, registration, promotion, live production, and follow-up.
Coordinate sales, founders, leadership, investors, content, and social teams using clear timelines and a reliable source of truth.
Track attendance, engagement, pipeline, and return on investment; report on event performance.
Requirements
3–6 years of field marketing, event marketing, or event production experience, ideally at a B2B technical company.
Proven experience owning events from sourcing and logistics through day-of execution and follow-up.
Early-stage startup experience and ability to build processes while executing.
Exceptional project management, organization, and attention to detail.
Comfort working directly with founders, executives, investors, and senior guests.
Strong vendor management, negotiation, and budget ownership skills.
Willingness to travel for events.
Nice to Have
Experience running executive or investor dinners and other high-touch events.
A network of Bay Area and major-conference venues, vendors, and event partners.
Familiarity with webinar and event platforms, registration tools, and lead-capture systems.
Experience running events at a startup or within a small, fast-moving marketing team.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary: $170,000–$230,000.
