Designs luxury fashion eyewear blending aesthetics, advanced materials, and user experience for personal computing devices. Collaborates with engineers on concepts, prototypes, fit testing, and production-ready frames requiring 5+ years experience and strong 2D/3D design skills.

Responsibilities
- Generate innovative eyewear design and CMF concepts that align with brand aesthetic, fashion direction, and user needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore, develop, and refine frame concepts, silhouettes, and material approaches.
- Create detailed sketches, technical drawings, prototypes, and color/material mockups.
- Present design proposals and incorporate feedback.
- Conduct fit studies, wear testing, and ergonomic evaluations for comfort and usability.
- Iterate designs based on user insights and testing.
- Work with engineering, manufacturing partners, and suppliers for feasibility and accuracy.
- Stay informed on global fashion trends, eyewear silhouettes, and emerging materials.
Required Qualifications
- Strong portfolio in eyewear, accessories, or wearable products.
- 5+ years professional experience in eyewear design, fashion accessories, luxury goods, or related categories.
- Strong understanding of frame construction, CMF development, and design for manufacturing.
- High proficiency in 2D design tools (Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Exceptional sketching and visualization skills.
- Strong aesthetic sensibility, trend awareness, proportion, fit, and fashion relevance.
Preferred Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of eyewear materials and manufacturing (hinges, wire cores, acetate, metal fabrication).
- Experience with 3D design tools (Rhinoceros, Alias).
- User-centered design methodologies, fit studies, comfort testing.
- Experience with high-end eyewear or luxury fashion brands.
- Familiarity with responsible material sourcing.
