Responsibilities
- Build and maintain full-stack web application features, including scalable, distributed microservices.
- Own complex features from technical design through production deployment while meeting high performance and reliability standards.
- Enhance and support the core web application stack, ensuring performance and accuracy for high-throughput traffic.
- Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot production incidents, and maintain high service-level agreements.
- Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, Design, and API partners.
- Establish high engineering standards and mentor teammates.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, container-based software distribution, and observability.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Experience building and maintaining highly available, scalable web applications.
- Proficiency with programming languages and frameworks used in full-stack development on distributed systems, such as React, Python, Go, Kafka, SQL, and NoSQL.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
- Experience with AI-assisted development workflows.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across organizations.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, preferably computer science or software engineering.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the shipping and logistics industry.
