Build and enhance user-facing community-building products across the frontend development lifecycle, from design through launch and maintenance. Requires 6+ years of frontend-focused software development experience and proficiency with modern web frameworks and JavaScript technologies.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain user-facing product features with strong performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, data scientists, and engineers to deliver high-quality products.
- Contribute across the full development lifecycle, including technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
- Review code and design documents and provide feedback on product specifications and mocks.
- Define standards, improve developer workflows, and recommend best practices.
- Coach and mentor engineers.
- Take end-to-end ownership of projects from design through deployment and maintenance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative or computer science-related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of software development experience in front-end-focused programming languages.
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, or ES6.
- Experience with one or more front-end web frameworks, such as Lit, Polymer, React, Vue, or Angular.
- Experience with CSS.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to new technologies, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, or Thrift.
- Ability to design and implement maintainable APIs.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary range: $190,800–$267,100 USD.
- Equity in the form of restricted stock units; some positions may also be eligible for commission.
