Paid Voice Acting Work
Paid performers conduct unscripted household scenarios and natural conversations with a voice assistant in recorded, onsite AI training sessions. Applicants need performance or improv experience, comfort on camera and audio, and reliable availability for four-hour shifts.

Compensation and Logistics
- $50 per hour for four-hour sessions ($200 per session), paid the same day
- Rates may be higher for performers with significant improv, voice, or stage experience
- Weekday and weekend shifts available; book one session or recurring shifts through summer
- $100 referral bonus for each referred performer who successfully completes a session
Responsibilities
- Perform unscripted, improv-style scenarios involving everyday household activities such as cooking, tidying, and folding laundry
- Interact conversationally with a voice assistant during each scenario
- Deliver natural, spontaneous dialogue and perform comfortably without a script
- Work on camera and in audio recordings for a full session
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be located in or near Columbus, Ohio
- Improv training or performance experience, including classes, student troupes, community theater, open mics, voice work, or live entertainment
- Comfort being recorded on camera and audio
- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled shifts
Additional Information
- Temporary, recurring gig work with four-hour shifts
- Sessions are conducted onsite in a studio in Columbus's Discovery District
- Recordings are used for AI research and training under a plain-language consent agreement
