Requirements
- 6+ years in the software industry, with exposure to security, trust and safety, or platform integrity in a product management or engineering leadership role.
- Familiarity with security challenges unique to AI-generated software, including code vulnerabilities, prompt injection, and unsafe defaults.
- Technical fluency, including programming experience and the ability to engage credibly with engineers on threat models, vulnerabilities, and platform architecture.
- Strong product sense and systems thinking.
- Ability to translate security constraints into good user experiences and determine when security should be invisible versus unmistakable.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience working on platform security or trust and safety at scale.
- Familiarity with enterprise security requirements and how they influence product decisions.
Responsibilities
- Represent users by bringing findings on security posture, threat models, and trust signals to the team with clarity and conviction.
- Run discovery end to end, including user interviews, competitive research, data analysis, and security messaging for technical and non-technical users.
- Shape how security surfaces across the product, including AI output review, permissions, publishing safeguards, and vulnerability detection.
- Scope functionality, validate it through user feedback and metrics, and remove what does not work.
- Enable sales, support, and marketing teams to speak credibly about security, especially with enterprise buyers.
Initial Projects
- Map the current threat surface across generated applications and define the biggest gaps.
- Own the first iteration of secure-by-default publishing safeguards.
- Build an internal framework for scoping, prioritizing, and communicating security features.
