Product Research Internship
Summer 2027 internship applying computer science, mathematics, statistics, and machine learning research to practical product capabilities. The intern will prototype, evaluate, and communicate solutions involving data privacy, security, governance, algorithms, and text analytics.

Responsibilities
- Explore potential research and product projects, then develop a project related to the team’s work.
- Investigate approaches that could support product capabilities with research scientists.
- Translate mathematical, statistical, and computational ideas into prototypes, experiments, and functional software.
- Apply research methods to practical problems involving data privacy, security, governance, machine learning, algorithms, and text analytics.
- Evaluate approaches using data, experiments, measurements, and clear reasoning.
- Collaborate with researchers, engineers, product teammates, and other stakeholders.
- Document and present processes and findings through reports, presentations, and discussions.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in computer science, mathematics, statistics, machine learning, or another quantitative field.
- Programming experience and interest in applying technical skills to data and research problems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Curiosity, initiative, and interest in turning research into practical solutions.
Nice to Have
- Research experience, a substantial independent project, or experience working with a professor.
Compensation
- Annual salary range: $52,000–$62,400.
