Research Engineer - New Grad
Research Engineer developing and deploying machine-learning algorithms for autonomous driving and robotics systems. The role targets recent MS or PhD graduates with experience in areas such as foundation models, diffusion policies, reinforcement learning, computer vision, and robotics.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the ADAS stack engineering team to test and deploy end-to-end algorithms for mass-production vehicles.
- Collaborate with the simulation team to deploy data-driven generation algorithms for efficient, automated tools.
- Conduct research on architecture design, robustness, safety, and language-modality incorporation for differentiable systems.
- Work with Research Scientists and interns on research publications for top-tier conferences.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas:
- World-action foundation models
- Video or Gaussian generation
- Diffusion policies
- Multimodal robot learning
- VLA post-training
- Reinforcement learning
- Physics-aware reconstruction
- Deformable simulation
- MSc or PhD in machine learning, computer vision, autonomy, robotics, or a closely related field.
- Graduation by December 2026 or summer 2027.
- Strong engineering and research skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Technical experience with Python, PyTorch, computer vision, robotics systems, and distributed machine-learning model training.
- Passion for scalable autonomy and robotics for real-world systems.
Nice to Have
- Industry experience in relevant topics, preferably self-driving applications.
- Experience building and shipping customer-focused software frameworks or tools.
