Operations Technology Product Designer

The Product Designer will shape operations technology and micromobility experiences across web and mobile products, partnering with product, engineering, research, and marketing teams from concept through launch. The role requires 3+ years of UX/UI experience, strong design craft, user research expertise, and proficiency with Figma.

Responsibilities

  • Problem-solve, think big, and explore divergent concepts and ideas while understanding how to converge and build iteratively toward a vision.
  • Plan strategically and think tactically as a partner with product and engineering to define the future of the team.
  • Use research and data to influence the product’s direction while executing high-quality wireframes, mockups, user journeys, and cross-platform interactive prototypes.
  • Advocate for design by sharing work and presenting cross-functionally, clearly articulating design rationale.
  • Inspire cross-functional partners by bringing new ideas to the team.
  • Create a unified, end-to-end experience through close collaboration with Product and Marketing Design teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in UX, UI, HCI, or a related field, including web and mobile design.
  • Experience working with lean teams of engineers, product managers, and program managers.
  • Experience designing innovative desktop and mobile products.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with user research methods and analysis.
  • Expertise with Figma and other prototyping tools.
  • Excellence in design craft.
  • Ability to work effectively with a low-ego, highly collaborative, cross-functional team.
  • Interest in working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.

Compensation

  • Expected base pay range: CAD $88,000–$110,000, excluding potential equity, bonus, and benefits.
