Responsibilities

Product Execution

  • Gather and synthesize requirements from patients, practices, stakeholders, product data, and technical partners.
  • Translate inputs into feature specifications covering goals, functionality, user flows, acceptance criteria, dependencies, edge cases, and success measures.
  • Partner with engineering, design, data, and cross-functional contributors to deliver patient-facing functionality.
  • Negotiate scope and implementation decisions, balancing speed, quality, and user value.
  • Own quality and launch readiness for patient experiences.
  • Identify and prioritize technical, functional, usability, and business issues across devices, workflows, and use cases.

Customer Insight

  • Use product analytics and reporting tools to identify opportunities, establish baselines, set goals, evaluate performance, and answer business questions.
  • Turn quantitative insights into actionable product recommendations.
  • Determine when patient or practice feedback is needed and select suitable research methods, including usability testing, interviews, focus groups, and surveys.
  • Partner with appropriate teams to execute research, synthesize findings, and prioritize improvements.
  • Work with design to deliver intuitive, accessible, and consistent patient experiences.
  • Assess product designs and identify opportunities for improvement using established patterns and relevant market examples.

Product Strategy

  • Connect patient-facing functionality to the strategic objectives of the Patients team, product organization, and company.
  • Define measurable goals, own commitments through post-launch analysis, and recommend next steps based on results.
  • Help define and communicate the vision for the patient product experience.
  • Build and maintain a prioritized roadmap informed by data, research, customer needs, and business priorities.
  • Support market research and competitive analysis of patient products and features.
  • Translate strategic insights into roadmap recommendations and measurable business outcomes.

Stakeholder Management

  • Identify stakeholders affected by current and planned patient initiatives.
  • Build alignment across product, engineering, design, customer-facing teams, business leaders, and other partners.
