About the role
Responsibilities
- Set the strategic vision and roadmap for the Project Healthy Minds World Mental Health Day Festival and other brand-forward experiences.
- Lead the strategy for the festival including programming, editorial, talent vision, creative direction, production, and staffing plans.
- Drive end-to-end execution of festival production, providing leadership to internal stakeholders, vendors, and venue partners.
- Lead vendor and venue relations from sourcing, negotiation, management, and reporting.
- Secure talent for events in partnership with CEO, teams, Board, and VIPs.
- Create detailed planning timelines and ensure execution across the team.
- Own the P&L for all events.
- Oversee creation of event materials in partnership with Creative and Brand teams.
- Ensure world-class guest experience across pre-event, day-of, and post-event.
- Manage partners and stakeholders.
- Provide reporting throughout planning and recap cycles.
Requirements
- Proven track record in all aspects of event production: conceptualizing programming, setting timelines, coordinating production (audio, video, labor, staging, catering), vendor management, run-of-shows.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, meticulous planner with effective systems.
- Creative with pulse on events landscape (fashion, media, music festivals, SXSW, Coachella, etc.).
- Leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, multitasker, performs under pressure, leads cross-functional teams.
- Strong communicator with exceptional oral and written skills.
- Bachelor’s degree and 8-14+ years of experience running events.
Compensation
