About the Work
- Define and own the technical vision and roadmap for the Eval Platform, spanning simulation, evaluation infrastructure, and software quality operations.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a multi-team organization (managers and senior ICs), fostering a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Build and scale simulation and eval capabilities that support both rapid autonomy iteration and rigorous validation use cases.
- Own the autonomy evaluation and validation platform, and partner closely with Autonomy and Systems leadership, ensuring it is reliable, scalable, and trusted by autonomy engineering, validation, and leadership.
- Represent Eval Platform at the executive level, clearly communicating tradeoffs, progress, risks, and readiness.
About You
- Deep technical expertise in building simulation systems, evaluation platforms for large-scale ML / robotics systems.
- Strong understanding of autonomy and validation, and how to build high quality tools for these use cases.
- Proven experience leading and scaling high-impact engineering organizations, including managers and senior ICs.
- Ability to translate complex technical signals into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity environment.
Compensation: Base pay range $258,000 - $387,000, plus annual performance bonus, equity, and competitive benefits.
