Responsibilities
Develop long-term client relationships with tax and finance leaders at large corporate tax credit buyers and tax equity investors across utilities, real estate, and industrials.
Build new client relationships through conferences, networking, outreach, partnerships, and inbound interest.
Speak on webinars, conference panels, and other industry events as a trusted market expert.
Advise clients on tax credit investment strategies.
Partner with external legal and tax advisors to navigate complex transaction matters.
Manage and mentor junior professionals, overseeing development, workflow, and execution quality.
Help shape the company’s tax credit buyer strategy, including segment prioritization, partnerships, and go-to-market approach.
Serve as an internal subject matter expert on renewable tax credits.
Lead development of new offerings for strategic partners.
Contribute to the creation and adoption of intellectual property.
Partner with product and customer success teams to maximize the value of the technology platform for tax and finance teams.
Travel approximately 25%.
Requirements
14+ years of experience in tax, accounting, legal practice, and/or tax-advantaged investing.
Proven ability to build and own long-term relationships with tax and finance teams at large corporations.
Experience managing and developing junior team members.
Comfort and confidence with cold outreach, conference participation, and public speaking.
Strong collaboration and team orientation.
Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
Willingness to work in a rapid-growth environment with significant autonomy and flexibility.
FINRA SIE, Series 79, and Series 63 licenses, or willingness to obtain them under broker-dealer sponsorship.
