Data Product Manager
Data Product Manager responsible for reliable execution of data deliveries from Komodo's Healthcare Map, resolving vendor issues, conducting data quality analysis, and collaborating with engineering and strategy teams.
Responsibilities
- Partner with vendors to resolve data delivery issues and address schema-related modifications
- Collaborate with the Data Strategy team to identify gaps in the healthcare map and evaluate/onboard new data sources
- Proactively quantify and communicate data-related issues to downstream teams and customers
- Lead exploratory analysis to understand data quality issues and provide workarounds or solutions
- Gather feedback from customers and internal users to prioritize and maintain an actionable operations backlog
- Collaborate with data engineering and data quality engineers to enhance reliability and quality of data pipelines
- Enhance operational rigor through implementation of new processes
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in data product management or data product operations in healthcare or life sciences
- Prior experience working with medical and/or prescription claims data
- Comfortable using data analysis tools and creating SQL queries to conduct analysis
- Ability to translate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Highly detail-oriented with an "Operations First" approach
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to leverage AI tools (Gemini, Claude, Cursor, etc.) to enhance productivity and streamline workflows
Nice to Haves
- Familiarity with life sciences, payer, and provider healthcare users and their data/analytics needs
- Prior experience as a product manager in a data-focused B2B technology/software company
- Experience working in agile/scrum teams with engineering
- Experience leading and influencing in cross-matrixed environments
- Understanding of the US third-party payment system and its impact on claims data
- Experience with AI agentic workflows
