Data Platform Engineer
Build and operate a declarative data platform supporting ingestion, transformation, and consumption. The role requires cloud data platform, orchestration, infrastructure-as-code, event-driven architecture, SQL, and distributed systems expertise.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain core data infrastructure, including data lakes, warehouses, orchestration, observability, and governance.
- Partner with platform and domain teams to design data pipelines and implement declarative configuration for ingestion and transformation.
- Ensure data quality, lineage, and security standards are embedded across workflows.
- Collaborate with Analytics Engineers to define modeling conventions and enforce schema governance.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for data systems.
- Support cost optimization and performance tuning.
- Define data platform best practices and enable self-service adoption.
Requirements
- Strong experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks.
- Deep understanding of data ingestion frameworks, orchestration, and infrastructure as code.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures.
- Proficiency in SQL and distributed systems.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to align technical details with strategic goals.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of Go.
