Leads pre-sales technical strategy and enterprise adoption of Databricks for Travel and Hospitality customers, guiding data and AI transformations. Requires substantial enterprise account, pre-sales, big data, cloud, data science, and production programming experience.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical voice for up to nine clients in the Travel and Hospitality sector.
- Partner with Account Executives to define and direct technical strategies for large enterprise accounts.
- Lead customers through transformational journeys to evaluate and adopt Databricks.
- Implement account technical strategies aligned with customer objectives.
- Build networks of technical champions within customer accounts.
- Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions.
- Provide structured mentorship to team members.
- Maintain and extend production data systems to address complex customer needs.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience working with very large accounts exceeding $1 million ARR in the Retail and CPG-related space.
- 4+ years of experience in pre-sales or supporting sales activities.
- Technical expertise in big data, data science, and cloud technologies.
- Experience with data-driven business transformation and driving organizational change through data.
- 3+ years of designing and implementing big data technologies or full-lifecycle data science solutions.
- Experience with Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP, and OLAP.
- Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala, or Java.
Nice to Have
- Databricks Certification.
Compensation
- Local pay range: $219,100–$301,300 USD annually.
- Total compensation may also include an annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
