Responsibilities

Technical Integration Leadership

  • Execute SIS integrations across PowerSchool, Infinite Campus, Synergy, and other legacy platforms, including data mapping specifications, transformation logic, and validation requirements.
  • Own SFTP pipeline setup, Clever and ClassLink rostering configuration, SSO provisioning, and platform-level data ingestion workflows.
  • Write and review data transformation scripts, API integration specifications, and configuration documentation.
  • Serve as the primary technical interface between the engineering team and district IT stakeholders.
  • Identify integration risks, including schema mismatches, API rate limits, authentication edge cases, and data quality issues, and drive solutions before they block launches.

End-to-End Implementation Ownership

  • Lead full-lifecycle implementation projects from contract signature through go-live.
  • Create project plans, technical milestones, dependency maps, and risk registers.
  • Manage stakeholder coordination and ensure clean transitions to Customer Success at go-live with complete configuration documentation and adoption metrics.
  • Own internal status cadences across Product, Engineering, Support, and Customer Success while removing blockers and driving accountability.

Customer and Change Management

  • Navigate district procurement timelines, IT governance processes, and organizational dynamics to keep implementations on track.
  • Guide district stakeholders, from IT directors to curriculum leads, through technical onboarding and rollout best practices.
  • Surface adoption risks and drive mitigation plans before they become blockers.

Scaling the Function

  • Design implementation playbooks, tooling, templates, and success metrics to support increased implementation volume.
  • Define when deeper technical engagement, such as Forward Deployed Engineer support, is required.
  • Help shape the long-term implementation team as it grows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
  • 4+ years of experience in technical implementation, solutions engineering, integration engineering, or a closely related technical delivery role in a SaaS or data-intensive environment.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, SFTP pipelines, ETL workflows, data mapping, and schema design.
  • Ability to read and write code in Python, SQL, or a similar language is a strong plus.
  • Deep fluency in integration patterns and system architectures, including reviewing API specifications, debugging data pipeline issues, and writing technical configuration documentation.
  • Proven experience delivering complex, multi-stakeholder technical projects on deadline in enterprise or public-sector environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong project management discipline, including risk management, dependency tracking, and milestone accountability.
