Responsibilities

HR Strategy & Operational Excellence

  • Develop and execute the HR Operations strategy for scalable, efficient, employee-centered service delivery.
  • Partner with the CHRO and Director of HR Business Partnering to align operational priorities with enterprise people strategies.
  • Establish governance, service standards, operating rhythms, and service-level expectations.
  • Develop scalable HR operating models, documentation, and processes.
  • Lead operational workstreams supporting growth, acquisitions, integrations, reorganizations, and transformation initiatives.

Shared Services & Employee Experience

  • Lead HR Shared Services across the employee lifecycle.
  • Oversee onboarding, offboarding, employee experience programs, workplace services, and HR operations.
  • Redesign HR workflows using automation, artificial intelligence, digital self-service, and process optimization.
  • Establish operational KPIs and service standards.

Payroll, Compliance & Governance

  • Provide strategic oversight of payroll operations across all jurisdictions.
  • Partner with Finance on payroll reconciliation, controls, compensation administration, and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international employment laws.
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and HR Business Partners to mitigate risk.

HR Technology & Analytics

  • Lead the HR technology strategy using automation, artificial intelligence, system integrations, reporting, and digital self-service.
  • Identify and implement AI capabilities that improve HR service delivery and decision-making.
  • Manage HR technology vendors and lead system implementations and enhancements.
  • Develop executive dashboards, workforce metrics, and HR reporting.
  • Use workforce analytics to identify trends and inform strategic workforce decisions.

Leadership

  • Lead and develop a high-performing HR Operations team.
  • Coach team members, raise operational standards, and foster accountability.
  • Evaluate emerging HR technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including significant HR Operations leadership.
  • 5+ years leading HR Operations, Shared Services, Payroll, HR Technology, or comparable operational HR functions.
  • Experience using automation, artificial intelligence, and digital workflow technologies to scale HR operations.
  • Experience leading payroll operations in a multi-state environment.
  • Experience implementing, optimizing, and administering enterprise HR systems.
