Software Engineer, Internship - Infrastructure
This internship involves building shared infrastructure, deployment platforms, developer tools, and observability systems supporting Palantir’s products. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain large-scale infrastructure supporting Palantir Foundry, Palantir Gotham, and Palantir Apollo.
- Contribute high-quality code to shared infrastructure, internal infrastructure products, and the platform used to deploy Foundry and Gotham.
- Develop infrastructure across backend, developer, frontend, and storage systems.
- Work on Kubernetes-based platform infrastructure, secure fleet-wide deployment and change management, and observability and alerting tools.
- Build developer tools and platforms used by engineers and other technical users.
- Collaborate with engineers, users, and non-technical team members.
Requirements
- Engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and frontend frameworks.
- Experience coding in Java, C++, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Planning to graduate in 2028; this must be your final internship before graduation.
- Ability to learn, make decisions independently, and ask questions when needed.
