Software Engineer - Payments Systems
Build and scale reliable, API-driven payment systems integrating with banks and payment gateways. The role requires strong Java and Spring Boot expertise, experience with Kafka and Kubernetes, and knowledge of distributed systems and global payment ecosystems.

Responsibilities
- Engineer highly reliable, API-driven payment systems that streamline operations and support global expansion.
- Translate product and design requirements into clean, maintainable, well-tested components.
- Collaborate with product managers, business, operations, designers, and backend engineers.
- Identify and resolve performance, accessibility, and usability issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to shared component libraries.
- Support the operational health of features and help maintain a high SLA.
- Drive technical decisions and own complex, large-scale engineering problems end to end.
- Manage technical debt, negotiate requirements, improve tooling, and advance engineering practices.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, with the ability to make changes in TypeScript/React, Go, and Python.
- Experience building scalable architectures using Kafka and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of global payment ecosystems, external banking APIs, and complex operational workflows.
- Strong knowledge of software design patterns, distributed systems, clean code principles, and automated testing strategies.
- Collaborative approach to solving architectural challenges.
