Senior Manager, Implementations

What You’ll Do

• Lead and coach a small team of Implementation Managers, providing guidance, feedback, and development support while modeling best-in-class project delivery and customer communication.
• Own end-to-end onboarding for complex or high-impact customers, including mapping business processes, configuring the platform, managing ERP integrations (NetSuite, QuickBooks), and ensuring smooth go-live.
• Drive process improvement by refining playbooks, standardizing workflows, and improving internal tooling and data visibility in partnership with the Head of Implementation.
• Act as a customer SME by clearly communicating accounting and revenue recognition concepts to ensure alignment between the platform and clients’ accounting requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Operations to surface implementation insights, identify product gaps, and prioritize enhancements.
• Track delivery metrics, identify blockers, and implement coaching or process changes to maintain quality, speed, and customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and knowledge sharing to build scalable Implementation practices as the company grows.

Who You Are / Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in software implementation, customer onboarding, or professional services at SaaS or fintech companies.
• Experience mentoring or managing a small team while maintaining direct project ownership.
• Strong technical and accounting fluency, with knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition, order-to-cash workflows, or ERP integrations (NetSuite, QuickBooks).
• Proven ability to manage complex client implementations end-to-end, balancing speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills across finance, accounting, and technical stakeholders.
• Background in accounting or finance software; CPA or Big Four experience is a plus.
• Based in New York City, available to work 5 days per week in office.
