About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting from sourcing through closing: identify and engage top talent, extend offers, negotiate, and provide excellent candidate experience.
  • Act as trusted advisor to senior stakeholders: influence hiring strategy, role intakes, prioritization, and trade-offs.
  • Set and uphold high bar for technical hiring: design and calibrate candidate assessments with engineering leadership.
  • Use data to drive decisions: track and analyze funnel health, talent pool effectiveness, and hiring velocity.
  • Represent and evolve Vanta’s engineering talent brand: ensure thoughtful, high-signal recruiting process.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in full-cycle technical recruiting, preferably in dynamic environments hiring engineering executives or IC leaders.
  • Strong track record closing candidates in complex offer scenarios, including equity trade-offs.
  • Proven ability to partner with stakeholders from ICs to executives with strategic influence.
  • Deep understanding of technical talent landscape, role scarcity, competitive dynamics, and evolving skill sets.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Naturally curious with growth mindset.
  • Open to using AI responsibly to amplify skills.
