Technical Program Manager, Hardware Systems
Leads end-to-end execution of custom hardware systems from architecture and requirements through production deployment, coordinating vendors and cross-functional silicon, software, datacenter, and supply-chain teams. Requires 8+ years of hardware NPI program management experience and demonstrated platform ownership through volume production.

Responsibilities
- Own the integrated hardware systems program plan across board, chassis, rack, and interconnect from requirements through EVT, DVT, PVT, qualification, and production ramp.
- Drive execution with ODMs, contract manufacturers, and component/optics vendors, including SOWs, build schedules, deliverable tracking, factory readiness, and escalations.
- Establish and run the NPI cadence, including build matrices, engineering reviews, design-for-X, issue triage, and exit criteria.
- Drive bring-up and validation for new platforms, including lab and pilot-rack logistics, firmware/BMC/diagnostics coordination, test coverage, reliability, and telemetry targets.
- Own interfaces across silicon, datacenter, infrastructure software, and supply chain teams.
- Run partner and technology evaluations and develop build, buy, and co-design recommendations with the architecture team.
- Own program communication for architects, executives, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Develop AI-assisted approaches for issue-tracker synthesis, build-readiness checks, spec/BOM consistency, and ODM-report analysis.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hardware systems or NPI program management experience for compute, networking, storage, or accelerator platforms.
- Direct ownership of at least one platform from concept through volume production, including its EVT, DVT, and PVT lifecycle.
- Technical fluency across power delivery, thermal, mechanical, high-speed interconnect, board design, and system management.
- Experience managing ODMs, contract manufacturers, and component vendors, including SOW negotiation, build tracking, quality escapes, and escalation.
- Experience establishing program mechanisms for new or early-stage hardware efforts.
- Strong written communication skills for plans, reviews, and executive updates.
- Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI/ML accelerator systems, HPC, hyperscale datacenter platforms, and scale-up or scale-out fabrics.
- Experience taking first-generation custom-silicon systems from bring-up through fleet deployment.
- Experience with liquid-cooled or high-density rack architectures, high-power rack distribution, or optical interconnect programs.
- Familiarity with chip-package-system interfaces and close coordination with silicon teams.
- Experience with datacenter integration, deployment, and fleet-scale reliability/RAS programs.
- Practical experience using AI tools in professional workflows.
