Communications & Brand Strategist
Executes internal and external communication strategies, manages corporate content, media relations, brand governance, and employee engagement for a B2B SaaS company. Requires 4-6 years experience including 2+ in B2B SaaS, exceptional writing, and tech stack proficiency.
Responsibilities
Corporate Communications
- Own the day-to-day execution of key corporate communication programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and marketing objectives across vertical pillars.
- Draft, edit, and manage production of high-impact corporate content, including press releases, executive talking points, media pitches, and thought leadership articles.
- Serve as primary internal contact for external PR agency; coordinate content flow, manage timelines, and track deliverables.
- Manage full lifecycle of speaking opportunities and corporate/brand awards, including tracking, submissions, executive prep, and promotion.
- Monitor and manage corporate review platforms; draft responses and manage review solicitation process.
- Spearhead Reddit strategy: monitor discussions, engage in threads, manage brand presence.
- Lead influencer relations: identify, recruit, and manage relationships with industry thought leaders.
Internal Communications & Employee Engagement
- Develop and execute proactive internal communications strategy to align employees with mission, priorities, and brand promise.
- Lead creation and distribution of engaging internal content: bi-weekly newsletters, all-hands meeting content, intranet updates.
- Ensure consistent, clear, timely information flow to 700+ employees, fostering transparency and engagement.
Brand Management & Measurement
- Act as brand steward: ensure consistent application of brand guidelines, messaging, and visual identity across channels; train cross-functional teams.
- Track, monitor, and analyze effectiveness of initiatives using KPIs; prepare data-driven reports and insights.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Sales teams for cohesive brand messaging in campaigns, events, and launches.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of progressive experience in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing.
- 2+ years in B2B SaaS or technology environment.
- Experience developing and executing communication strategies for internal and external audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
- Exceptional writing skills for diverse channels.
- Highly organized with ability to execute strategy, manage multiple projects under deadlines.
- Proficiency with media monitoring (e.g., Cision, Muck Rack) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media management, internal comms platforms).
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; proactive and resilient in fast-paced environment.
Employee Communications Specialist
Develops and executes internal communications strategies, including content creation for emails, newsletters, all-hands events, and initiatives to engage global employees. Requires 3-5 years experience in communications with strong writing skills and familiarity with digital tools like Slack and Google Workspace.
