Government Contracts Administrator

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an obligation register across federal agreements and update it through modifications.
• Manage the compliance calendar, including training deadlines, certificates, notices, postings, and annual filings such as VETS-4212A.
• Administer federal portals and submissions, including SAM, representations and certifications, PIEE, and WAWF for invoicing.
• Determine applicability based on thresholds, commercial-item carve-outs, and company size.
• Review flowdowns in new subcontracts and agreements before signature and identify resulting obligations.
• Manage applicable Army training requirements, including AT Level I, OPSEC, iWATCH, and ATCTS registration.
• Route execution to People Ops, IT, and security while maintaining the compliance map.
• Coordinate clause interpretation with outside counsel.

Requirements

• Experience administering federal contracts or subcontracts on the contractor side, with ownership of follow-through.
• Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, flowdown matrices, and applicability thresholds.
• Experience building and maintaining an obligation register or compliance calendar.
• Experience submitting information through federal systems, including SAM and preferably PIEE or WAWF.
• Ability to work independently on a small team.
• Must be a U.S. person and able to work with CUI.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with DoD other transaction agreements.
• Experience with prime contracts and subcontractor flowdowns.
• NCMA certification.
• Experience with CDRLs and contract closeout.
• Active or recently held security clearance.
