What You’ll Do

  • Build and standardize infrastructure for how software is built, versioned, tested, and deployed
  • Automate testing frameworks across the entire testing pyramid (unit, API, integration)
  • Architect large-scale systems with sound tradeoffs for performance, risk, and long-term maintainability
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure for high-performance data feeds and trading APIs
  • Support clearing systems with high availability and strict guarantees, including margining, collateral management, and banking integrations
  • Stress-test and harden critical systems for robustness and scalability
  • Ship fast and with high quality
  • Make autonomous technical decisions
  • Contribute to shaping engineering culture

What You Bring

Required:

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Strong technical fundamentals and comfort tackling complex engineering problems
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to learn
  • Deep familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, RDS, Kafka, load balancing, etc.
  • Experience creating or implementing processes and tooling that improve engineering efficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and drive large projects with long-term impact
  • Excellent judgment and prioritization skills
  • Growth mindset, high slope, and eagerness to learn
  • Craftsmanship: care deeply about quality and outcomes
  • Ability to ship extremely quickly
  • Strong experience in one or more of: Networking (debugging and resolving complex networking issues), Security (certifications such as CISSP or CISMB)

Bonus Points:

  • Experience building deployment systems in Kubernetes
  • Experience designing dev/test environments in Kubernetes
  • Experience building dynamic configuration systems

Compensation

Salary Range: $100,000–$250,000 annually, plus equity and benefits.
