About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute brand strategy with focus on narrative development, storytelling, and copywriting excellence.
  • Lead creation of engaging, on-brand copy and creative for marketing campaigns, product launches, website, email, social media, and in-app experiences.
  • Collaborate with design, product, and growth marketing teams to ensure cohesive, compelling messaging and creative tailored to audiences.
  • Champion brand voice for consistency and authenticity across all communications and storytelling.
  • Oversee and mentor team of writers and brand designers, providing feedback and fostering creativity and innovation.
  • Analyze audience insights and campaign performance to refine messaging and storytelling; co-own awareness metrics with growth team.
  • Identify and develop new storytelling opportunities including partnerships, campaigns, and product narratives.
  • Stay current on industry trends, best practices in copywriting, brand design, and emerging storytelling formats.
  • Maintain documentation of brand standards and guidelines.

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of experience in brand marketing, with strong background leading copy and design for digital products or consumer tech.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with a portfolio demonstrating engaging, audience-focused content.
  • Proven experience developing and executing brand strategy, including brand narratives and messaging across multiple channels.
  • Inspirational leader with people-centric approach, dedicated to mentoring teams in fast-paced tech environment.
  • Deep understanding of modern marketing strategies, content strategy, and needs of family, parent, and kid-focused audiences.
  • Analytical mindset using data and insights to inform storytelling and messaging.
  • Experience marketing multiple products within a brand and contributing to integrated campaigns across digital, social media, film/video production, CRM, OOH, and new media.
