Responsibilities

  • Recruit, mentor, and scale a high-performing, global engineering organization.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and engineering excellence.
  • Define the long-term technical vision and organizational structure for the AI Solutions team.
  • Lead the technical design and development of advanced AI and machine learning solutions using Snowflake Cortex and Snowflake ML.
  • Own end-to-end implementation of the AI Solutions product line, from concept through enterprise-grade production deployments.
  • Serve as the senior engineering authority in customer engagements, partnering with Fortune 100 customers and go-to-market teams.
  • Represent engineering in strategic planning, influencing headcount, budget, and product roadmaps.
  • Partner with Product, Research, Sales, Delivery, and Customer Success teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement in AI methodologies and best practices.
  • Travel up to 25% to engage with customers and global teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's, master's, or PhD in Computer Science or a related major, or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of software engineering experience.
  • At least 4 years in an Engineering Director role, including experience managing managers.
  • Deep technical expertise in AI and machine learning.
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying solutions using large language models, natural language processing, and generative AI technologies.
  • Track record of delivering complex software solutions to enterprise customers.
  • Experience scaling engineering organizations across multiple geographic locations.
  • Exceptional cross-functional partnership and customer-facing skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic mindset with strong project management and execution capabilities.

Compensation

  • Salary range: $264,000–$379,500 annually.
