About the job

Responsibilities

  • Investigate cases quickly and efficiently.
  • Analyze non-compliant traffic to understand bad-actor behavior and develop subject-matter expertise in fraud investigations.
  • Protect Twilio customers and consumers by identifying bad actors, fraudulent activity, and evolving tactics.
  • Take daily action to stop bad actors and fraudulent activity while minimizing false positives.
  • Identify trends and root-cause gaps, and recommend preventative solutions.

Requirements

  • Willingness to work a non-traditional schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a strong bias for action.
  • Previous experience in customer service or a customer-facing role requiring effective and empathetic communication.

Nice-to-haves

  • Basic knowledge of SQL, Looker, Tableau, or similar data extraction and visualization tools.
  • Basic understanding of APIs and related technologies.
  • 1–2 years of experience working in a queue-based or contact-center environment.
