Responsibilities
- Own the ongoing reliability and robustness of production infrastructure by monitoring availability, capacity, and throughput.
- Evolve systems by adding reliability requirements to the product roadmap.
- Coordinate reprioritization or fixes for critical bugs supporting support and sales requirements.
- Recommend production infrastructure improvements in collaboration with engineering to ensure high availability.
- Automate scalable artifact deployment across all environments.
- Monitor infrastructure vulnerabilities and remediate them with the security team.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience working with SaaS products at scale.
- Working knowledge of managed Kubernetes, including EKS, AKS, and GKE.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and related tooling, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Terraform, Ansible, Buildkite, Pulumi, and ArgoCD.
- Experience with Python, Shell scripting, and Go; Java experience is a bonus.
- Experience with Linux operating-system internals and administration.
- Experience with cloud networking, including site-to-site VPNs, PrivateLink, and Private Service Connect.
- Experience with PostgreSQL databases.
