Responsibilities
- Build and own high-impact mobile experiences for clinicians from product exploration through launch, measurement, and iteration.
- Develop interaction patterns for real-time transcription, ambient documentation, AI-assisted review and editing, multimodal inputs, intelligent recommendations, agentic actions, and offline care experiences.
- Collaborate with clinicians, product managers, designers, AI engineers, and backend engineers to translate workflows and model capabilities into responsive, understandable, trustworthy mobile products.
- Contribute across the Flutter application and native Swift/iOS and Kotlin/Android integrations.
- Own performance, accessibility, reliability, analytics, testing, observability, and release readiness.
- Prototype quickly, use qualitative and quantitative feedback, and refine product experiences.
- Shape mobile product and technical strategy; mentor engineers and raise standards for mobile engineering and product craft.
- Occasionally contribute to web or Chrome extension surfaces when workflows span platforms.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional mobile development experience with ownership of user-facing products or features.
- Deep experience in iOS, Android, or cross-platform mobile development.
- Strong native expertise in Swift/iOS and/or Kotlin/Android, including platform conventions, app lifecycle, permissions, background execution, and performance.
- Willingness to ramp onto a Flutter-based codebase.
- Track record of taking ambiguous mobile concepts through polished, production-ready delivery.
- Strong product judgment and attention to usability, interaction details, performance, and craft.
- Understanding of reliability for recording, connectivity, background execution, and sensitive-data workflows.
- Experience collaborating with product, design, backend, data, or AI teams.
- Ability to work across product features and the mobile systems supporting them.
- Ownership mindset and bias for action.
Nice to Have
- AI-native, conversational, or real-time product experience.
- Audio or video capture, streaming, transcription, or background recording experience.
- Offline-first applications, synchronization engines, resilient local persistence, or conflict handling.
- Flutter and Dart, including Riverpod or similar state-management patterns.
- Mobile design systems and reusable component libraries.
- Mobile experimentation, product analytics, and feature-adoption or usability measurement.
- Experience improving startup time, responsiveness, memory usage, battery consumption, or crash rates.
- Mobile observability, CI/CD, testing, release automation, or App Store and Play Store workflows.
- Exposure to healthcare, HIPAA, SOC 2, privacy, security, or regulated environments.
- JavaScript, TypeScript, Chrome extensions, or web application experience.
