Staff Data Engineer - GTM

Responsibilities

• Own account identity by building entity-resolution systems for domain and firmographic matching, confidence scoring, and merge/deduplication pipelines.
• Model account hierarchies linking accounts to parent, top operating parent, and ultimate corporate parent.
• Build account-sourcing pipelines that turn market definitions into ranked, deduplicated, CRM-ready lists and push them into Salesforce with appropriate ownership and metadata.
• Build contact-sourcing and enrichment pipelines, including verification, enrichment, privacy, and consent controls.
• Build LLM-powered enrichment using prompt design, web search, crawling, and multiple providers to answer questions about target companies.
• Land data in well-modeled and tested dbt models in Snowflake, orchestrated with Airflow, and sync it to Salesforce, Marketo, Clay, and other GTM systems.
• Instrument pipelines with tests, alerts, and reconciliation to maintain data quality and trust.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to define data foundations that support commercial goals.

Requirements

• Genuine interest in growing the business and working closely with go-to-market teams.
• Experience with dbt, cloud data warehouses—especially Snowflake—and DAG orchestrators such as Airflow.
• Production experience building with LLMs, including prompt design and evaluation, tool or function calling, web search and crawling, and cost and latency control.
• Experience with entity resolution, identity, or deduplication for messy real-world records, including precision and recall trade-offs.
• Hands-on experience integrating SaaS APIs and business systems, especially Salesforce.
• Strong communication skills for explaining technical and data concepts to both executives and engineers.
• Growth mindset and eagerness to learn rapidly changing tools.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with ZoomInfo, Apollo, Clearbit, Clay, Crossbeam, Marketo, Census, Fivetran, or Gong.
• Experience with territory design, account scoring, propensity models, or ICP definition.
• Exposure to privacy and compliance considerations for contact data, including GDPR, CCPA, and consent management.
