Responsibilities
Conduct post-visit reviews of completed in-home appointments, confirming lab draws, documentation, and required paperwork were completed accurately and on time.
Monitor and track lab results and imaging reports through Quest and other clinical applications.
Identify missing, delayed, or incomplete results and follow up with labs, providers, and internal teams to resolve gaps within defined SLAs.
Upload, organize, and manage clinical documents accurately and promptly.
Escalate clinical concerns or documentation gaps to the appropriate clinical or operational team.
Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance when handling PHI and clinical records.
Support outbound patient outreach calls, including result delivery and appointment follow-up, as needed.
Monitor workflows for gaps or inefficiencies and suggest or support process improvements.
Adapt to updated SOPs, tools, and priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Requirements
At least 1 year of experience in a clinical healthcare environment, such as healthcare administration or patient care coordination.
Working knowledge of HIPAA, patient privacy standards, and medical terminology.
Experience reviewing or tracking lab results, clinical documentation, or medical records.
Experience communicating with doctors' offices, hospitals, labs, and clinics by phone and email to resolve missing information.
Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare software.
Fluency with Mac OS, Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom, and ticketing systems such as Zendesk.
Strong organizational, attention-to-detail, written communication, documentation, adaptability, follow-through, and accountability skills.
Comfort making occasional outbound patient calls.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with an EMR; Elation experience is a plus.
