Senior Software Engineer owning a high-volume payments platform processing $3B+, consolidating legacy integrations with banking, Stripe, SAP and partners. Requires strong payments/fintech experience, attention to detail, customer collaboration, and regulatory knowledge. In-office role in SF working closely with CEO.

What You'll Do
- Consolidate and refactor a payments system assembled from many legacy system integrations
- Build and maintain integrations across banking, debit cards, Stripe, SAP, partner advances, payroll, and our billing platform
- Own the orchestration and tracking/reconciliation layer across third-party fintech partners
- Design for correctness first, because money movement demands it
- Work directly with customers to understand real-world failure modes and edge cases
- Partner daily with product to build, ship, measure, and iterate
- Build within the laws and regulations governing payments and financial services
Who You Are
- Senior engineer with a strong payments background and real experience building payment systems and integrations (fintech a plus)
- Exceptionally high attention to detail; strong finance background is a plus
- Excited to be close to the build and close to customers
- Likes working on a small team and moving fast; bias toward action
- Comfortable with the regulatory landscape around payments, banking, and cards
- Uses AI tools and figures things out independently
