Senior Solutions Architect, Enterprise

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise-grade data pipelines with dbt Cloud.
• Partner with sales to communicate the technical value of the dbt Labs product suite.
• Guide customers through proof-of-concept implementations and dbt Cloud trials.
• Work with engineering to deploy dbt Cloud in private clouds for enterprise clients.
• Own the customer lifecycle from pre-sales evaluation through product adoption and expansion.
• Collaborate with product on the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap.
• Build relationships with partners, including Snowflake, AWS, and Databricks, and enable them to adopt and implement dbt.
• Participate actively in the dbt community.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions architecture, or consulting in data operations, analytics, or business intelligence.
• Technical experience with SQL, ETL, and data modeling.
• Understanding of modern data warehousing architectures.
• Ability to translate technical and business requirements into concrete solutions.
• Excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to inclusive teamwork and community participation.

Nice to Have

• Experience in analytics, ETL, BI, or open-source software.
• Knowledge of or experience with dbt.
• Experience with dimensional, data vault, Kimball, or 3NF data modeling.
• Experience with Informatica, Boomi, or Talend.

Compensation

• Seattle OTE range: $219,458.75–$274,323.75.
• Compensation may include salary, equity, and, where applicable, performance-based pay.
