Owns complex global equity administration workstreams, including transaction processing, compliance, reporting, controls, and employee support. Responsibilities
- Process equity transactions in E*TRADE Equity Edge Online, including RSU releases, ESPP purchases, FCPE activity, option exercises, dispositions, and cancellations.
- Oversee complex, high-risk equity administration workstreams and review new equity grants.
- Maintain process narratives, procedures, flow charts, calendars, and checklists.
- Support system implementations, process changes, automation, and AI-assisted solutions.
- Review financial results and metrics for finance management and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with People Operations, Legal, Payroll, Tax, and Accounting.
- Support global equity reporting, international tax compliance, country-specific sub-plans, and trustee arrangements.
- Partner with Payroll and Tax on equity income, withholding, reporting, mobile employee allocations, and exception resolution.
- Support SOX controls, audit evidence, and internal and external audit requests.
- Support Section 16 transactions, Rule 10b5-1 trading plans, and pre-clearance coordination.
- Manage relationships with stock plan providers, transfer agents, trustees, and local advisors.
- Help deliver global employee equity education, enrollment campaigns, inquiries, and self-service resources.
Requirements
- 5+ years of equity or stock plan administration experience, including experience at a U.S. public company.
- Global employee population experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required, ideally in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- CEP designation preferred or in progress.
- Deep experience with stock plan administration platforms; E*TRADE Equity Edge Online strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of equity mechanics, U.S. and international tax withholding and reporting, ASC 718, Section 16, Rule 10b5-1, and SOX controls.
- Ability to independently own complex, deadline-driven processes and escalate issues appropriately.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical equity and tax concepts clearly.
- Discretion and integrity when handling confidential compensation and personal data.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience automating recurring work with Google Apps Script, Python, Power Automate, or SQL.
- Experience with Workday, NetSuite, Workiva, FloQast, Tableau, or AI tools.
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated annual salary: $131,000–$154,000 USD.
