Senior Fullstack Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and build key components for a time-and-attendance system.
• Develop secure, scalable backend services and APIs in Go while contributing to accessible frontend features in React.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver end-to-end features.
• Design, implement, and maintain reliable backend microservices for payroll products.
• Investigate and resolve production issues across the stack, focusing on root-cause analysis and long-term stability.
• Contribute to a platform handling time-critical workflows with precision and reliability.
• Conduct backend and frontend code reviews, ensuring quality, maintainability, and best practices.
• Deliver high-quality software features within established timelines.

Requirements

• 4+ years of development experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience building and maintaining end-to-end web applications with modern backend languages such as Go, C#, or Python and frontend frameworks such as React and TypeScript.
• Experience with scalable architecture and user-centric design.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases.
• Cloud experience; AWS preferred.
• Experience managing infrastructure and service configurations using Configuration as Code, such as Helm, Kustomize, or Terraform.
• Experience deploying and operating backend services in Kubernetes-based environments.
• Ability to collaborate across the stack and translate product and design requirements into user-facing functionality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or ChatGPT.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong bias toward action and results.
