Senior Software Engineer
Senior full-stack software engineer responsible for designing and supporting scalable web applications across Python/Elixir and modern JavaScript technologies. The role requires 6–8 years of experience, cloud and container expertise, database knowledge, testing practices, and strong collaboration skills.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop features for the AlertMedia product suite.
- Learn the AlertMedia platform, tools, and customer use cases.
- Build and support scalable web applications across the stack.
- Use AI-enabled tools such as Claude, Codex, and other emerging platforms for development, problem-solving, documentation, and productivity.
- Work in an Agile environment using Git, JIRA, Jenkins, and Slack.
- Contribute innovative ideas and help drive architectural evolution for a critical application.
- Collaborate with engineering, product teams, principal engineers, and leadership.
- Write clear documentation and communicate effectively across functions.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of experience building scalable web applications.
- Experience with Python and/or Elixir; Django and JavaScript experience preferred.
- Experience with Linux-based containers, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud services.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and other storage technologies.
- Established practice of writing unit and integration tests.
- Active use of AI tools and modern developer platforms.
- Strong organizational, verbal, written, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Strong English proficiency, written and oral.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
- Legal authorization to work in Mexico without sponsorship.
