About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the automotive ecosystem, including OEM programs, Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier dynamics, emerging technology trends, and the competitive landscape for automotive technologies
  • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis to track competitors' positioning, product capabilities, go-to-market strategies, and customer wins to translate findings into actionable insights for Sales and Product teams
  • Define and own segment-level messaging and positioning for the automotive vertical, ensuring differentiation is clear and consistent across all customer touchpoints
  • Build and execute vertical marketing programs including thought leadership content, industry event strategy, account-based marketing campaigns, and customer case studies
  • Partner with Business Development and Sales to equip the team with materials such as battle cards, solution briefs, presentation decks, and objection-handling guides
  • Engage directly with automotive customers and prospects to gather market intelligence and validate messaging
  • Track key industry forums, standards bodies, and publications to ensure Applied Intuition remains at the forefront of automotive industry discourse
  • Contribute to pipeline and revenue goals by supporting demand generation activities tailored to automotive buyers

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience at an automotive OEM, Tier 1 supplier, or automotive technology company
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • Strong command of the automotive development lifecycle and an understanding of how software tools and platforms are evaluated and adopted
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear, differentiated positioning for technical and executive audiences
  • Experience conducting rigorous competitive analysis and synthesizing insights into actionable recommendations

Compensation

Base salary range: $120,000 - $170,000 USD annually, plus equity and benefits.
