Responsibilities
- Design and implement core backend service features.
- Provide unit, integration, and performance test coverage for owned features.
- Document design decisions and operational knowledge needed to deploy and run services.
- Add service-level logs and metrics to support cloud service operation.
- Create alerts, dashboards, and runbooks for production.
- Improve team velocity.
Requirements
- Extensive experience designing large-scale distributed systems for reliability and scalability.
- Operational experience in large-scale distributed-systems environments.
- Experience developing highly concurrent systems and writing concurrent production code.
- Strong understanding of reliability engineering.
- Experience with Elasticsearch or ClickHouse.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Go or similar languages.
- Experience with infrastructure environments.
