Responsibilities
- Translate user interfaces of all Chess.com apps (Chess.com, Chess.com Mobile, ChessKid, ChessKid Mobile, Dr. Wolf, etc.).
- Translate marketing campaigns.
- Review previously submitted translations and ensure they're high quality.
Requirements
- Proven professional experience in translating complex texts between English and Tamil.
- Exceptional linguistic knowledge, including a strong grasp of language theory and structure.
- Native or near-native fluency in both English and Tamil.
- Excellent communication skills with a high degree of responsiveness.
- Proven ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
Nice-to-Haves
- Demonstrated expertise in chess with a deep understanding of its terminology.
- Passion for chess and a meticulous approach to linguistics.
