About the role

What You'll Do

  • Partner with customers to scope and implement state-specific NIBRS compliance requirements within the Mark43 platform.
  • Collaborate with agency stakeholders to identify reporting issues, recommend workflow improvements, and resolve data quality challenges.
  • Analyze incident and records data to validate compliance with state and federal reporting standards.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Technical Services, Product, and Engineering, to address complex reporting scenarios and improve customer outcomes.
  • Assist customers in understanding NIBRS reporting requirements and provide guidance on best practices for maintaining compliance.
  • Investigate data discrepancies, document findings, and support customers through corrective actions to ensure accurate reporting.

What You'll Need

  • Professional experience supporting public safety records management, reporting, or compliance initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of NIBRS reporting standards.
  • Ability to translate complex compliance requirements into practical solutions for customers.
  • Experience working across multiple state reporting requirements (highly preferred).
  • Attentive to detail, with enjoyment in digging into data, identifying inconsistencies, and ensuring accuracy.
  • Clear and confident communicator, able to explain technical and regulatory concepts to various audiences and build trusted customer relationships.
  • Adaptable and solutions-oriented, embracing change and navigating evolving compliance requirements.
  • Humble, open, and curious, with a collaborative approach and continuous improvement mindset.

Occasional travel may be required for customer engagements, training, or team collaboration.
