Senior Data Analyst supporting Operations and Customer Experience through experimentation, operational metrics, stakeholder partnership, and strategic recommendations. Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic partner and advisor to product managers and business leaders, making data-driven recommendations on customer experience optimization strategies.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to design and conduct rigorous experiments supporting product development.
- Define strategies for measuring program health and operational performance, including comprehensive metrics, clear reporting, and monitoring rhythms.
- Analyze key customer experience operational metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
- Develop and present concise narratives from analytics findings to senior Operations leaders, covering identified problems and proposed solutions.
- Support the construction and maintenance of core reporting abstractions built in dbt, BI reporting, and AI semantic layers.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience working cross-functionally with complex datasets to support organizational decision-making.
- Hands-on experience with A/B testing and experiment design.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate analysis and results clearly to business partners.
- Ability to independently translate stakeholder questions into clear, actionable analytical problems.
- Hands-on experience building data abstractions with tools such as dbt or Airflow.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Mode, Looker, Periscope, or Tableau.
- Strong SQL proficiency, including confidence reviewing code written by analysts and data scientists.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent applied statistics experience.
- Python or R programming experience.
- Experience leveraging AI tools for analytics.
- Experience working with customer service datasets, such as Zendesk.
- Workforce forecasting experience.
