The QA Automation Engineer builds and maintains UI and API automation, owns quality for assigned modules, validates AI-driven features, and supports release readiness. The role requires 5–8 years of QA automation experience with Java or Python, Playwright or Selenium, REST APIs, and CI/CD exposure.

Responsibilities
- Build, execute, and maintain UI and API automated tests using Playwright/Selenium with Java or Python.
- Perform end-to-end and regression testing to ensure release readiness.
- Own quality assurance for assigned modules, including:
- Test planning and design
- Automation coverage and execution
- Regression sign-off
- Achieve approximately 70–80% automation coverage with stable, reliable test suites.
- Analyze test failures, identify defects, and provide clear root-cause insights.
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Cursor, and Gemini to generate tests, debug, and improve coverage.
- Validate AI/LLM-driven features for prompt and response accuracy.
- Collaborate with engineering on debugging and fix verification.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in QA or test automation.
- Strong experience with Java or Python and Playwright or Selenium.
- Solid understanding of UI, API, functional, and regression testing.
- Experience with REST APIs, Postman, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools, or willingness to learn.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with VoIP, contact center, or communication platforms.
- Exposure to performance or reliability testing.
